AWARENESS/SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP ON SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE USE OF REGULATED AGRICULTURAL INPUTS FOR STAKEHOLDERS IN THE NORTH CENTRAL ZONE (MINNA)

The NAFDAC Act CAP N1 LFN 2004 empowers the agency to provide Science based information for regulatory decisions and specify requirements that must be met by stakeholders to ensure that Veterinary drugs and Allied products are acceptable, safe and efficacious for use.

In order to create adequate awareness in the agricultural sector, the Director-General has approved that the directorate of Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products hold a workshop for farmers, manufacturers, importers/distributors of pesticides, fertilizers, animal feeds, premixes, concentrates and veterinary drugs in Minna on 25thFebruary, 2016 at Haske Luxury Hotel, Tunga, Minna, Niger State by 10am.

It is our pleasure to invite the interested members of the general public to the workshop.

I started as a field Veterinary officer with the Borno State Ministry of Agriculture and later joined College of Agric, maiduguri as a lecture & a researcher in the Department of Animal Health & Production.
